LEGISLATURE 2006 SESSION » Nicholas Head rang up a tobacco customer yesterday at Tobaccos of Hawaii on Atkinson Drive. A proposal approved yesterday by a joint Senate and House conference committee would raise the tax on a pack of cigarettes by $1.20 over the next six years. The bill is among many up for final vote next week in the Legislature.
