Tsugio "Mori" Morishige worked on a multicolored throw net yesterday at Ala Moana Beach Park. Morishige said he has worked on the handmade net for two months, and estimated it will take another month to complete it, at which time it will have a span of 9 1/2 feet. Morishige said he is self-taught in the art of net-making, with his inspiration being his grandfather, with whom he used to fish.
