>> Brickwood Galuteria defeated Jimmy Toyama in an election to succeed Alex Santiago as Hawaii Democratic Party chairman. An item in "On the Scene" on Page D2 yesterday incorrectly said Galuteria replaced Toyama, who is the Oahu County chairman, as state party chairman.
>> University of Hawaii regents questioned the lack of supporting receipts when the UH Foundation paid former President Evan Dobelle's credit card bill, including personal expenses, from his protocol account. A Page A1 article yesterday incorrectly said the regents questioned why his bills were submitted without "proper documentation." Dobelle did submit a spreadsheet outlining personal and business expenses, which was considered adequate by the foundation.
>> A headline on Page A1 in Tuesday's early edition may have given the impression that John Adams, former chairman and chief executive of Hawaiian Airlines, personally received $41.4 million from the sale of 10 million shares of Hawaiian Holdings Inc. stock. Actually, it was AIP LLC, the majority shareholder of Hawaiian Holdings, that received the $41.4 million. Adams said yesterday that he received less than $2 million from the stock sale.
