CONGRATULATIONS, DANNY!
PARTY TIME IN KAHALU'U!: Tom Moffatt, center, joined Danny Kaleikini and Linda Wong in their newly-completed Pohaikealoha Garden at the Kahalu'u fishpond on Saturday. Kaleikini and Wong hosted a luau for several hundred friends, employees and family members to mark the completion of another step forward in fully restoring the historic fishpond area. Wong says the fish in the pond will be ready for market in a few years.
ALOHA HUG!: Kanoe Cazimero hugged Danny Kaleikini before she sang "The Nearness of You." He joined her for a hana hou and later added to the international feel with "Danny Boy," "Siva Siva" and "Arirang."
A FAMILY-STYLE PARTY: Danny Kaleikini, left, and Linda Wong, third from left, welcomed Angela Baraquio and her husband, Tinifuloa Grey. Linda and Angela danced solo hulas,Tini sang "In Your Hawaiian Way" and Ken Makuakane shared several of his local hits, including "I Miss You My Hawaii" with support from musicians Imaikalani Young, Gordon Alfapada and Greg Kaneiakala.
