Tea, champagne and an expansive Chinese pupu buffet made for a delightful late-afternoon party last Thursday as the Women's Fund of Hawai'i honored its 2007 Women's Fund Grantees at Hong Kong Harbor View Seafood Restaurant at Aloha Tower. Pegge Hopper, left, Laurice Otsuka, Tyrie Jenkins, Nancy D. White and Priscilla Growney* joined Women's Fund Chairwoman Gwen Pacarro near the podium before the start of the formal presentation. Roland Cazimero took a quick glance backstage while the Brothers Cazimero were opening Bishop Museum's 2007 "Moonlight Mele on the Lawn" concert series last Thursday. The enthusiastic crowd on the lawn got the Brothers at their best and also enjoyed showcase numbers by Manu Boyd and Leina'ala Kalama Heine.
