» A private memorial for Don Ho tomorrow will be open only to family and invited friends in Waikiki before his ashes are scattered offshore. On Page 8 of the
"Don Ho: We'll Remember You" special section in today's paper, a listing of tomorrow's events incorrectly lists a 5 p.m. event at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel. After the section went to press, organizers changed the site of the memorial and
asked that the public respect the family's request for privacy. A public memorial celebration is still planned to begin at 7 p.m. tomorrow at Queen's Surf Beach.
» Senate President Colleen Hanabusa is a 1969 graduate of St. Andrew's Priory. A Page A3 photo caption in some editions yesterday incorrectly said she was a 1956 alumnus.
» "Waiting for Guffman" will be screened at 2, 4, 6 and 8 p.m. Thursday at the Movie Museum. The listing in the HiLife weekend section was incorrect due to a last-minute change after the press deadline.
CLARIFICATION
» The state considers the new discoveries of iwi, or bones, at the Ward Shops construction site to be "inadvertent" rather than "previously identified," but the Native Hawaiian Legal Corp. disputes the classification. An
article on Page C3 yesterday did not make that distinction.
