Libraries host
summer storytimes
The Hawaii State Public Library System is hosting free Children's and Young Adult Summer Reading Programs through July.
In celebration of the program, a handful of Oahu libraries will host free demonstrations by Doug Beter and his Rainbow Pigeons, ending with the release and flight of his multi-hued racing pigeons into the sky.
Beter will be at the Waialua Bandstand at 10 a.m. Saturday, 1 p.m. June 25 at the Mililani Public Library, and 3 p.m. June 29 at the Pearl City Library.
