It was only a matter of time before Ward Centre's newest restaurant launched an after-hours party of its own.

Nightlife veterans Georgio Taye and Grant Mitchell Fukuda (aka DJ G-Dog, below) host this one-time event, which could go weekly depending on the turnout. Fukuda's Stone Groove Family brethren will provide the beats.

"Nitelite Two-Year Anniversary Party," 10 p.m. at the Living Room. Cover: $10. 21+

Local disc jockey collective Nitelite celebrates their second year together with a special edition of the usual "Speakeasy Saturdays" party at the Living Room.

Besides house favorites from DJs Reid, Eugene and Kawika, special guest DJ Jacob London will jump on the decks at 11 p.m. to help celebrate.

It usually doesn't get crowded at the Living Room until midnight or so, but this week promises to be an exception -- get there early!
