Fourth-graders at Saint Louis School incorporated world events about the selection of pope into their religion class on Tuesday, creating trading cards featuring some of the papal candidates. Police officer Jeff Tallion, whose normal beat is Kalihi, instead patrolled Big City Diner tables at Ward Entertainment Center yesterday to benefit Special Olympics. June Soong, facing camera, and Rose Nambara were among his breakfast customers. On the "Tip A Cop" fund-raiser, law enforcement personnel bus tables for a day and donate their tips to Special Olympics.
