» A story on page C1 yesterday incorrectly referred to the Waikoloa Beach Marriott and Outrigger Resort by its past name, the Royal Waikoloan. The hotel was renamed in January 2003. » Lance Cpl. Karl Linn and Cpl. Christopher Weaver, killed in an Al Anbar province ambush Wednesday, were part of the 4th Combat Engineer Battalion, 23rd Marine Regiment, and Sgt. Jesse Strong, of a Marine reserve company based in Lynchburg, Va., was killed in the same ambush. In some afternoon editions yesterday, the three Marines were incorrectly listed among the 26 Kaneohe Marines and one Pearl Habor-based sailor killed in a helicopter crash on the same day. » Volunteer coordinator Trudy Lovejoy said, "The Marine Corps takes care of its own, and we're doing everything we can on this end to take care of the families." A displayed quote on Page A11 of yesterday's afternoon edition incorrectly attributed the quote to her husband, Lt. Col. Owen Lovejoy.
