About 12,000 Jehovah's Witnesses from 20 countries are attending a four-day convention at the Hawai'i Convention Center. The casket of the late Bishop Joseph Ferrario was carried from St. Theresa Co-cathedral yesterday at the end of a two-hour Mass. About 400 people attended the service.

Jim McConnell took his Yorkshire terriers on their daily morning walk in Waikiki on Thursday. McConnell said the family of dogs enjoys the attention they draw from tourists on their walks.
