Tochiazuma falls
into tie for first place


FUKUOKA, Japan >> Tosanoumi defeated Tochiazuma today, handing the sumotori his first loss at the Kyushu tournament.

Tochiazuma (10-1) fell into a tie for first place with Asashoryu, who beat Wakanosato today.

Dejima, Kasuganishiki, Hokutoriki, Tosanoumi and Chiyotaikai are all tied for second at 8-3.

Yokozuna Musashimaru, or Hawaii's Fiamalu Penitani, retired from the sport on Saturday.
