THREE FAIR LADIES: Proud mom Kim Au, center, congratulated her daughters, Nataysha Ann Ku'uipo Echevarria, left, and Tatiana Echevarria, at the opening-night reception for Ron Bright's production of "My Fair Lady" at Paliku Theatre on Thursday. Nataysha and Tatiana perform primarily as anonymous ensemble members, but also as two of the acrobatic buskers (street performers) who enliven the opening scene.

CHUCK CHECKS OUT: Chuck Berry, left, shook hands with promoter Tom Moffatt as he left the Blaisdell Arena after the Rock & Roll Supershow on Saturday. One of the highlights in Berry's stellar set that closed the show was his risque solo version of "My Ding-A-Ling."

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, GENOA (PART 1): Celebrity chef Chai Chaowasaree, third from left, congratulated Leina'ala Haili, left, Genoa Keawe and Eric Keawe after Aunty Genoa's pre-birthday concert at the Hawaii Theatre on Friday. The big surprise in the show came when "stagehands" Robert Cazimero and Tony C were joined by Bill Kaiwa and sang "Ku'u Makamaka" in her honor. The party continues Thursday at the Waikiki Beach Marriott.
