Family Stones tournaments coming up

Entries are being accepted for two slow-pitch softball tournaments at Central Oahu Regional Park.

The first Family Stone High School Alumni 35-and-over Men's Slowpitch Tournament and the Family Stone Coed Slowpitch Tournament will be held the weekend of Sept. 5-7. The entry fee for both tournaments is $175.

All Girls Rodeo set for Oct. 18

The Hawaii Women's Rodeo Association will host the 11th annual All Girls Rodeo on Oct. 18 at the Barbers Point Riding Stables.

Events will include barrel racing, pole bending, goat tying, steer undecorating, dally team, breakaway and wahine calf mugging. Championship buckles are awarded for each event and the All Around Trophy Saddle is given to the overall champion.
