after 2 daysAssociated Press
Asashoryu beat Takanonami by tsukidashi (frontal thrust out) to stay unbeaten.
The newest grand champion has started his last four tournaments perfect after three days and will be looking to extend the streak against Kyokutenho tomorrow.
Kyokutenho (1-1) beat ozeki Musoyama yesterday but has less of a chance against Asashoryu, since he has not beaten the yokozuna in six tries going back to the Hatsu basho in 2001.
Asashoryu is the only yokozuna in the tournament because Musashimaru, or Hawaii's Fiamalu Penitani, is sitting out the tournament with a torn tendon in his left wrist that has been slow to heal.
