Registration is being accepted for the Life Foundation AIDSWalk on March 8, a fund-raiser commemorating the foundation's "20 Years of Hope in Action." Registration under way

It is an opportunity to "celebrate the lives of those who have died of AIDS as well as those living with it, and to spread the word that despite medical advances, the epidemic isn't over," according to the foundation.
Individual and team walkers will gather pledges from friends and family. Prizes will be given to those who raise the most money. Everyone who raises $100 or more will receive a T-shirt.
Registration can be done online at www.aidswalkhawaii.org. Online donations may be made by credit card.
Walkers without Internet access can call the foundation at 521-2437 to register and have donation-record sheets and other materials mailed to them.
The route is an easy five kilometers around the perimeter of Kapiolani Park. Wheelchairs and strollers are encouraged.
