The Ko Olina Community Association held its fourth annual Thanksgiving Outreach Project yesterday. At the Lighthouse Outreach Center Assembly of God, Ruta Tulafale, left, served Aleki Vaielua. Food was prepared at Kapolei High School and then trucked by UPS trucks to different churches around the area, providing around 3,000 meals. For more photos, click here.

Mark Mitsuyasu and his son, 6-year-old Reece, showed off the 9-ounce catfish Reece caught yesterday at the Nuuanu freshwater fish reservoir off Pali Highway. Reece was the only one who caught anything in their group of five.

Participants in the Carpenters Union Local 745 Apprenticeship Program performed a community service framing project yesterday, building a guard shack at the entrance to Kapolei High School.
