Kapolei hosts a Thanksgiving outreach project

The Ko Olina Community Association held its fourth annual Thanksgiving Outreach Project yesterday. Food was prepared at Kapolei High School and then delivered via UPS trucks to different churches in the Leeward area. Wendy Embrey, left, Boy Timoteo and other volunteers readied the food for distribution at Kapolei High School.

Hannah Poialii set out food to be served at the Lighthouse Outreach Center Assembly of God. About 3,000 meals were served yesterday at Leeward-area churches.
