Race for the Cure
Saturday at Kapiolani


The 8th annual Susan G. Komen Hawaii Race for the Cure is Sunday at Kapiolani Park.

A 5K race starts at 7:30 a.m., followed by a one-mile walk.

Entry forms are available at Chevron stations, Safeway stores, the Kapiolani Women's Center, the Running Room, Runner's Route, Sports Authority, in Hawaii Race Magazine, and at www.raceforthecurehawaii.org.

Participants can pick up their packets in the Mauka Room of Aloha Tower Marketplace on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Groups that enrolled may pick up informational packets at Aloha Tower Marketplace on Friday from 3 to 6 p.m.

Late registration on Saturday is $25 and entrants can pick up packets at Kapiolani Park on race morning from 6 to 6:45. There will be no registration on race day.

OFL All-Star Game slated for Sunday

The Oahu Football League East-West All-Star Game is Sunday at Central Oahu Regional Park at 3:30 p.m.

It will be the league's first all-star game.
