Sara Pilgreen had 18 kills to lead host Hawaii-Hilo over East Texas Baptist 30-23, 30-27, 30-20 yesterday in the Hawaiian Style Classic at the Afook Chinen Civic Auditorium.

Cheriesse Shiroma and Emily Hutchinson had 12 kills each for the Vulcans, who improved to 2-3. ETBfell to 0-5.

In another match, North Dakota knocked off Hawaii Pacific 31-29, 30-22, 30-23 to improve to 5-0.

Emily Tuve led the way for North Dakota with 15 kills, while teammates Kristi Glassman and Laura Birk had 11 kills apiece. The Sea Warriors dropped to 2-3.

Susy Garbelotti drilled 20 kills for HPU.
