In the bar of Columbia Inn, seated at the "Roundtable," left to right, are Kekoa Kaapu (in the Harvard shirt), Star-Bulletin editorial writer Lee Catterall, David Eith, and Star-Bulletin business writer Russ Lynch.

Behind Lynch, seated at the table is Thomas Kahakui, USAF, Ret. who is having lunch with his friend (not seen), Ben Macadangdang.

Continuing right, in the white shorts at the bar, is Barry Mills, and next to him, Scott Dowda. To their right, behind the counter is bartender Lisa Bantiles.

Further right, along the bar in the pale blue shirt, are Michael Scarfone with friends Wayne Herlick and Dr. Gene Eagan. Scarfone moved while I was shooting.

Seated behind them at the table with the colorful hat is Bill Dunham.

This was photographed Jan. 2, 2001 in the bar of Columbia Inn, 645 Kapiolani Blvd., Honolulu, Hawaii 96813 next door to the Newspaper Bldg.

The restaurant is slated to close on Jan. 5.
