The Makaha Sons, will perform at tomorrow's
benefit for Mental Help Hawaii.



Music for mental health

Mental Help Hawaii will celebrate its 27th anniversary with a benefit concert, Ho'ala Ka 'Ike, at Hawaii Theatre tomorrow evening.

The show starts at 7:30 p.m. and will include performances by Makaha Sons, the reformulated Pure Heart and Halau Hula o Maiki. Tickets are $15-$25, plus a $3 restoration fee.

Mental Help Hawaii, established as "The House" in 1973, provides housing and socialization to persons recovering from mental illness. Its goal is to help clients achieve their optimal level of independent living.
