Martin T. Alcalde, 76, of Waipahu, a retired carpenter, died Sunday in St. Francis-West Hospital. He was born Abra, the Philippines. He is survived by wife Columbina B.; sons Arnold B., Glenn B., Joel B. and Edwin B.; daughter Ellen B.; brother Leonardo; sisters Herminia Cantil, Jobita Alcalde, Saturnina Corbe and Christina Gabaon, and four grandchildren. Bernadette K.N. Amina Bernardino, 69, of Pearl City, a secretary at Fort Shafter and Barbers Point, died Sunday. She was also owner of Nona's Flower Shop in Chinatown. She was born in Hilo. She is survived by children Andrew Jayson, Monica 'Ewalani, Juliette Moana, Ramona Celeste, Noreen K.L. Momi and Theresa M. Haunani; companion John Roddy; sisters Alice Perry and Elizabeth Kaleikoa, and two godsons. Services: 11:30 a.m. Monday at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 114 Makawao St. in Kailua. Clementine R. Costa, 91, of Kailua, a retired teacher from Aliiolani Elementary School, died Tuesday in Kailua. She was born in Kealia, Kauai. Darrin J. Engoring, of Honolulu died Saturday in Honolulu. He was born in Honolulu. Oscar Fargie Jr., 77, of Honolulu, a retired sergeant major in the U.S. Marine Corps, died Tuesday in Straub Hospital. He was born in St. Louis.
