Model remodeling

Take a peek at recently completed kitchen and bath projects in 10 private homes during Sunday's Great Kitchen & Bath Tour.

The event, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., enables home owners to view the many options available in designing a kitchen or bathroom, two of the most used rooms in most homes.

Visualizing dream arrangements "is much easier when you see what can be done in actual homes rather than a showroom," said tour chairperson Craig Washofsky.

The homes are in Hawaii Kai, Aina Haina, Waialae Iki, Kahala, Waikiki and Kailua.

Tickets are $10, tax deductible, available along with maps to the homes from National Kitchen and Bath Association Aloha Chapter member firms, or by calling Hawaii Remodeling magazine at 538-6849. Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit Honolulu Habitat for Humanity's First Ladies Build Program.
