Richard G. MacMillan was ordered to pay $5,000 in fines for failing to file 1995 and 1996 general excise tax returns.
William H.C. Campbell Jr., doing business as Hiki No Trucking, was ordered to pay $5,000 in fines for failing to file 1996 and 1997 public service company tax returns.
The three received deferrals of their guilty pleas as first offenders on condition they pay the fines.
Nettie Kaahaaina, an officer with American Welding Inc., was held criminally liable for the corporation's failure to file 1995 and 1997 corporate tax returns and for first-degree theft for failure to pay withholding taxes deducted from employees' payroll.
She received five years probation and was ordered to pay $9,000 in fines and to make restitution of $25,820 to the state. Her request for deferral of guilty plea was denied.
Meanwhile, businessman Sieghard Kramer, who has pleaded guilty to two counts of failing to file annual state general excise tax returns and one count of theft of withholding taxes, has paid $69,500 in restitution.
