Calvin Oi Dak Pang, 80, of San Jose, Calif., a retired shipwright with Pearl Harbor and Alameda Naval Shipyards, died June 14 in Santa Clara, Calif. He is survived by wife Petronella; daughters Patricia, Camille Rico, Danelle Pacyao, Brenda Morton and Beryl Agua; son Melvin; 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Memorial services were held Saturday in San Jose.
Dat Quon Pang, 77, of Honolulu, a retired civil engineer with Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, died May 30 at Kuakini Medical Center. Born in Honolulu, he is survived by wife Beatrice; son Daryl; daughter Cara Gee; sisters Kam Lin Jaena, Kam Oi Lai, Kam Hoong Siu, Ng Moi Lau, Wai Hin Gum, Mee Jun, Mee Chai Rabanal, Mee Quai Loo, Sun Mee; and two grandchildren. Private services were held.
Mary Ann Paona Toralba, 86, of Pepeekeo, Hawaii, a housewife, died Saturday at Hilo Hospital. Born in Hilo, she is survived by sons Bartolo, Clyde, Charles and Albert Saragosa; daughters Betty Ann Fernandez, Margie Carter, Evon Sayer, Molly McRight and Mona Costa; sister Beatrice De Mello; 35 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
