Jack Carreiro has been promoted from senior vice president to executive vice president of the Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii. He will have greater authority to direct sales and marketing, which includes membership development; services and benefits; public relations, advertising, special events, and military affairs operations. He was recruited in 1996 by Chamber President Stanley Hong to rebuild the organizaton's membership and financial condition.
Carreiro is a graduate of St. Louis High School. He earned bachelor's degrees in aeronautical technology from the Air University, a marketing degree from Clayton University, and an associate degree in management and personnel counseling from Northwest Missouri State University. He is an Air Force veteran who is active in many veterans and business organizations.
