Mauna Loa's Winter Wonders

Mauna Loa in winter is an awesome sight. And it is the quest of photographer Ken Ige and reporter Alan Matsuoka to hike its cold and majestic summit. Wet weather halted their ascent this year, but their time on the mountain provided unbelievably beautiful moments as well as some very cold ones. Read their story in today's Features section.
