All-Stars beat Movers in extra innings

Blaine Umeda's RBI single in the top of the 12th inning lifted the Hawaii All-Stars to a 3-2 win over the Island Movers yesterday at Les Murakami Stadium.

Pitcher Daven Hermosura struck out seven over nine innings for the All-Stars (3-1), and Tyler Inouye picked up the win with three innings of shutout relief.

The Island Movers (1-3) took a 2-1 lead with single runs in the second and sixth innings. The All-Stars tied the game in the eighth on Keahi Kapana's single to score Jacob Mellor, and went ahead in the 12th when Kaohi Downing scored from second on Umeda's single to right field.
