Punahou back
on the top

At the top and bottom, the Star-Bulletin Baseball Top 10 had its most discombobulated week of the season.

Punahou (23-2-1) returned to the top, securing the No. 1 ranking after sweeping its Interscholastic League of Honolulu foes last week.

The Buffanblu defeated Damien, Pac-Five and Iolani to improve to 10-1-1 in the league.

The panel of coaches and media gave Punahou nine of 11 first-place votes.

Mililani (16-5) moved up a notch to No. 2 after posting wins over Leilehua and Waialua.

The Trojans are 7-0 in the Oahu Interscholastic Association West.

Last week's No. 1 team, Kamehameha, slipped to No. 3 after a loss to Saint Louis.

Saint Louis (17-7) stepped up one slot to No. 4 after winning its two ILH games.
