SUPPORTING LOCAL THEATER: Johnny Fernandez of SOS-LV, left, congratulated Dan Furst, center, and Edison Erorita after the Sunday performance of "The Three Musketeers" at Leeward Community College (Furst plays Cardinal Richelieu; Erorita is King Louis' attendant). Fernandez, who toured nationally as Thuy in "Miss Saigon," said that back when he was a student at LCC he was too busy to audition for any of the shows there.

PARTY TIME!: Makana clowned with 12-year-old guitarist Danny Carvalho at Indigo Eurasian Cuisine after his impressive Hawaii Theatre concert Saturday. Carvalho and Makana opened the concert with a "dueling banjos" style number, and Makana said afterwards that Carvalho plays better than he did at that age.

BIG ALOHA FOR BRUDDAH E: An overflow crowd jammed Chez Monique Sunday night for a fund-raiser benefiting Elton "Bruddah E" McKeague, center. Kelly DeLima, right, was one of many entertainers who shared his aloha with "E" and his wife, Cleo. McKeague, who played percussion with DeLima's band, Kapena, before joining the Ka'ala Boys, has big medical bills to pay after being treated recently for cancer.
