Hotter Than Hell has Kiss endorsement.

Hotter Kiss

The Kiss tribute band Hotter Than Hell will be performing 8:30 p.m. Sept. 7 to 9 at Gussie L'Amour's.

Based in New York, Hotter Than Hell has been together eight years and is the only Kiss tribute band endorsed by the original members. Kiss bass player Gene Simmons even picked Hotter Than Hell to double for Kiss in the feature film "Detroit Rock City."

An $8 advance pass good for all three nights is available at Gussie's. Tickets otherwise will be $10 at the door.

Also due at Gussie's is Bay area thrash legend Testament, performing with Hawaii's Crucible and Broken Man 9 p.m. Sept. 22 and 23.

Tickets are $16.50 in advance, available at Gussie's, Tower Records, Jelly's, Radio Free Music and Pearl Harbor Bloch Arena, or $18 at the door. Both shows are for a 21 years-and-older crowd. For more information, call 836-7883. Gussie's is at 3251 N. Nimitz Highway.
