Thwarting cyber-thieves

An early lesson for on-line newcomers is to guard password and account information

He is going to have to go to court to get back the money four teen-agers cost him after allegedly conning him into disclosing his credit card information over the Internet.

But learning to protect yourself online doesn't have to cost you.

'Net newcomers should guard their password and account information as they would their ATM (bank) card or house keys.
