Fifteen candidates for state Legislature, all Democrats, are uncontested in the general election: three in the Senate and 12 in the House. They are:

District 20 (Kapahulu, Ala Wai, Moiliili, McCully): Scott Saiki

District 28 (Kamehameha Heights, Kalihi Valley): Dennis A. Arakaki

District 30 (Kalihi Kai, Palama): Romy M. Cachola

District 35 (Pacific Palisades, Pearl City Highlands): Noboru Yonamine

Also unopposed for a state seat is Board of Education incumbent Mitsugi Nakashima, for the 7th Dept./Kauai.
