A 34-year-old Kailua woman died last night after crashing her motorcycle into a parked pickup truck.

Police said the woman was speeding north on Wanaao Road in Enchanted Lake 216 feet south of the Paopua Loop intersection when her motorcycle veered right into the pickup truck.

The crash happened about 7:55 p.m. under rainy skies.

An ambulance transported the woman to Queen's Medical Center in critical condition where she later died.

Police said the woman was not wearing a helmet.

Her death is the 19th traffic fatality on Oahu this year compared to 18 over the same period last year.
