Two boulders hit one of the buildings at the Kamehameha IV housing complex in Kalihi this morning, leading to the evacuation of at least nine families.

Police said no one was hurt when the incident occurred at 8:20 a.m.

The American Red Cross said at least nine families were asked to evacuate and it was opening a shelter at the housing's community center.

The fire department was not summoned to the scene near the Likelike Highway.
