A 49-year-old Puna man died Sunday from injuries he sustained in an all-vehicle crash in the Hawaiian Acres subdivision in the Puna District. 

Big Island police said the victim was Robert Teixeira of Kurtistown. His Suzuki King Quad ATV was found on his body on Road B. 

Puna police believe he was traveling north when he lost control of the ATV Sunday night. He was wearing a helmet. 

He was taken to Hilo Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 11:50 p.m.
