Police hunt bank robbery suspect

Honolulu police are asking the public’s help in finding a man wanted in connection with the robbery of a bank in Kalihi yesterday.
Police said the man entered Bank of Hawaii at 1617 Dillingham Blvd. about 11:45 a.m., approached the teller and handed over a demand note.
The suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money, police said. He was last seen on Kalihi Street.
Police described the suspect as being in his 20s to 30s, 5-foot-4 to 5-foot-6 and weighing 120 to 160 pounds. He is further described as having dark brown hair and a beard.
Police said the suspect was wearing a gray and blue print aloha shirt and dark-colored shorts at the time of the robbery.
