A year and a half after she was last seen, her family is making a desperate plea for help in locating the 45-year-old woman, who was homeless at the time.

“;She was really waiting for me to have my first kid,”; said Keoni Lacson, 24, holding his 2-month-old son yesterday.

Roxanne Lacson was last seen about 7 p.m. on Aug. 26, 2007, after she was dropped off by daughter Rose Lacson at a friend's home on Makakilo Drive.

Roxanne Lacson was unemployed and is known to frequent Waianae and other Leeward Coast areas.

She has no contact information.

“;At this point, we've exhausted all options,”; said police Sgt. Kim Buffett.

A police report was filed in October 2007 because the mother would contact one of her 11 children at least monthly. When her family and friends stopped hearing from her, they grew concerned.

“;She was always here and there with friends,”; said 29-year-old son Keola Lacson. “;For her friends to say they don't know, there's something wrong.”;

Rose Lacson, 28, said her mother's friends have since moved out of their Makakilo home. She said she had no reason to suspect she would disappear.

The daughter was in a fashion show earlier that evening and her mother watched. That was when the last known photo of Roxanne Lacson was taken, the same photo released by the Honolulu CrimeStoppers.

The family has scoured the Leeward Coast, handing out flyers with the photo, but have had no luck. Rose Lacson said they have no reason to suspect foul play, and that their mother had no history of mental illness or substance abuse.

Roxanne Lacson is described as 5 foot 3 inches tall, about 130 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

She has the name “;Rose”; tattooed on her thigh, and a heart on her hip.
