Man charged with attempted murder for allegedly stabbing his wife

A 64-year-old Waipahu man was arrested and charged yesterday for allegedly trying to kill his wife.
Herminio Sol stabbed his 41-year-old wife in the neck at 12:30 a.m., police said. Emergency personnel took the woman to the Queen’s Medical Center in critical condition. She is now in serious condition, police said.
Sol's wife identified him as the person who stabbed her, police said.
Sol was arrested at his residence and charged with attempted murder. His bail is set at $100,000.
