South Korean pop star Rain has arrived at federal court in Honolulu today to testify in a civil lawsuit filed against him over cancellation of his 2007 Hawaii concert.

Before entering the courthouse, Rain, said “aloha”, flashed a shaka to a handful of fans, and was served with papers on canceled concerts in other states, including one in Los Angeles. He let the documents fall to the ground.

Honolulu-based Click Entertainment is suing Rain and his former agency for breach of contract and fraud for canceling the concert at Aloha Stadium without explanation.

Plaintiffs say Rain kept a $500,000 appearance fee.

The Korean star was scheduled to testify this afternoon.

The courtroom was packed with fans, all female, ranging from grandmothers to teenagers.
