Four of the six suspects in last month's early-morning home invasion robbery in Palolo carried shotguns during the robbery, according to a state grand jury indictment returned yesterday.
The four are Jordan Artuyo, 18; Justin Lono, 28; Lemuel Jones, 24; and Herb Hiapo Kolo, 22.
Artuyo was also armed with a knife, said Vickie Kapp, deputy prosecutor.
The indictment charges each defendant with multiple counts of first-degree robbery, kidnapping, first-degree burglary and using a firearm to commit the crimes.
The indictment also charges Kainoa Maikui Ah Mook Sang, 20, and Clement Kelii Leoiki-Mutch, 19, with robbery, kidnapping and burglary.
Circuit Judge Richard Perkins reduced the bail for each defendant to $250,000 from $350,000.
Only Leoiki-Mutch has a prior conviction, and that is for a petty misdemeanor theft, Kapp said. Leoiki-Mutch was the lookout and getaway driver for the robbery, she said.
Police said the robbers broke into a 10th Avenue home May 23, assaulted and tied up the occupants, and stole cash, computers and other property.
