» Gov. Linda Lingle's senior policy adviser, Linda Smith, said the proposed salary increase for the state education superintendent would be 150 percent of the highest principal's pay, not 150 percent above that pay, as reported on Page 8 in an article yesterday. Also, the salary increases for the superintendent and other top administrators would take effect in the 2011-2012 school year. The increases do not start in July as reported in the article.
