Hawaii Pacific University will host Chico State in an NCAA super regional, with a berth in the Division II softball championship at stake.

The best-of-three series begins Friday at 2 p.m. at Howard Okita Field in Kaneohe. The second game is set for 11 a.m. Saturday, with a decisive game to follow at 1:30 p.m. if necessary.

The third-ranked Sea Warriors (44-7) advanced with a 1-0 win over Central Washington on Sunday in the finale of the West 2 regional. Chico State (32-19) swept through the West regional, defeating Dixie State 4-3 on Sunday.

Winners of the eight super regionals advance to the Division II championship in St. Joseph, Mo.
