Age makes no difference in neutering

QUESTION: My cat is 7 years old and never been neutered. Is he too old?
ANSWER: It's never too late to have a pet spayed or neutered - the most beneficial surgery a responsible pet owner can make possible. Spaying is the surgical removal of the uterus and ovaries. Neutering involves removal of the testicles. The operation is performed under general anesthesia and your pet should be up and about within a day.
