Firms saving fuel have a shot at TV

The Blue Planet Foundation and Hawaii Business magazine are looking for a local business as a candidate for its upcoming “;Hawaii Home Energy Makeover”; TV special.

The business, which will be upgraded to become more energy efficient, will be featured on TV as well as in the October issue of the magazine.

Ideal business candidates are making both structural and behavioral changes to optimize energy efficiency in their day-to-day operations. The show will be shot over the summer and air in October, and will feature before-and-after footage.

Randy Brandt and Bill Paris, who are best know for their long-running “;Hawaiian Moving Company,”; are producing the TV show, while Donalyn Dela Cruz and Billy V. will serve as hosts.
