Sex abuse story is fiction, lawyer says

The operator of a portable toilet rental company in Nanakuli paid a 15-year-old boy $1.25 for every toilet the boy cleaned and $5 every time the boy allowed him to perform oral sex, prosecutors said in Circuit Court yesterday.
Henry Moisa, 58, who operates A's Party Portables, is on trial on four counts of first-degree sexual assault involving the boy in 2007 and 2008.
The first sexual assault happened in May 2007 when the boy, then 14, started working for Moisa, said Adrian Dhakhwa, deputy prosecutor. He said the boy, now 17, was shocked at first but later consented.
“;He knew it was wrong. He takes some of the blame for that. But he wanted the money,”; Dhakhwa said.
State law prohibits having sex with minors under 16 by persons who are at least five years older and not married to the minor.
Moisa's lawyer said the boy made up the whole story.
When Honolulu police detectives interviewed the boy in May 2008, he told them, “;Sometimes it's better to tell a lie,”; said Daphne Barbee, Moisa's lawyer.
Barbee said the boy cannot remember any of the dates Moisa allegedly performed sex on him. On his MySpace page, the boy says he earns $250,000 a year, she said.
