Hawaii senior receiver Greg Salas was named to the NationalChamps.net Preseason All-America third team yesterday, the only Warrior named to the list.

Last season, Salas finished fourth nationally in receiving yards per game (122.3) and sixth in receptions per game (8.15), both of which led the Western Athletic Conference. The two-time first-team All-WAC selection has caught a pass in 27 consecutive games dating to his freshman season and holds the school record for single-game receptions with 16, set last Nov. 14 against New Mexico State.

Hawaii opens the season Sept. 2, hosting USC.
