Feldman to play at Trinity

Punahou senior guard Matt Feldman will play basketball at Trinity University next season.

Trinity is an NCAA Division III school in San Antonio.

Buffanblu boys rate

Punahou boys volleyball standouts Taylor Crabb and Henry Cassiday have been rated among the top 25 recruits (class of 2010) nationally by ESPN Rise.

Crabb, who has signed with Long Beach State, is ranked No. 12. USC-bound Cassiday is No. 24.

Douglas (Fla.) middle blocker Shane Welch, who has signed with the University of Hawaii, is No. 2.

Punahou remains No. 1 in ESPN Rise's Fab 50. 'Iolani is No. 7 and Kamehameha is No. 8.

Collection time

Pacific Islands Athletic Alliance, which provides recruiting help for local student-athletes, is collecting video footage from football players for distribution to college coaches.

The footage must be provided on Tuesday at PIAA's fundraiser golf tournament in Waikele or on May 22 at UH's East-West Center, according to Doris Sullivan of the PIAA. For more information, call her at 261-2500.

St. Francis senior to East Carolina

Chelsea Kaluhiokalani-Glackin of St. Francis signed a letter of intent to play softball for East Carolina.

Kaluhiokalani-Glackin, who was recruited as a center fielder, is a switch-hitter and batted .387 this season.
