Makena resort offers kamaaina rates

Makena, Maui » Maui's Makena Beach & Golf Resort is offering special room rates for kamaaina plus a $40 activity credit for each night booked. The credit can be used for Makena's beach activities, golf at the 18-hole Makena Golf Course or dinner and entertainment at the Makena Sunset Luau. The “;Makena Sampler”; rates start at $149 per night, plus resort fee and taxes, with a minimum one-night stay. Prices are valid now through June 15.

Get a massage and golf in Hanalei

Hanalei, Kauai » The Princeville at Hanalei is offering a “;Tease for Two”; package, which involves a round of golf and a massage at the golf course clubhouse spa.

A couple can share the package or buy one each and play golf and visit the spa together. It includes an 18-hole round of golf for one player, including shared cart, bottled water, same-day use of practice facility, and a souvenir logo ball; a 50-minute massage with choice of aromatherapy, lomilomi, shiatsu, sports or Swedish massage therapies; and a day pass for both individuals to take exercise classes and use a weight room, lap pool and outdoor whirlpool, among other amenities. The package costs $275 (plus tax) through Dec. 31.
